The Russian military’s “Dandelion” anti-drone system (Pasternak EW System) is a vehicle-mounted electronic warfare platform designed to detect, identify, and suppress enemy drones. It employs multi-band jamming technology to disrupt GPS/GLONASS navigation, control signals, and video transmission.
Developed by KRET, officially named “Roza” (Rose) EW system, it’s nicknamed “Dandelion Tank” by soldiers. Core capabilities include 5km detection range and 3km effective jamming radius against UAVs.

Patent RU2748571C1 reveals adaptive spectrum analysis that scans 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz and other common drone frequencies. Its intelligent power allocation algorithm adjusts jamming intensity based on threat level, minimizing collateral impact on civilian communications.
The system core includes three subsystems: broadband RF detection array, multi-channel jamming transmitters, and tactical decision support AI. The innovation uses phased array technology for 360° coverage and machine learning algorithms to identify new drone signatures.
